Can you believe this guy? He convinced me to celebrate his birthday for an entire week!!!! We celebrated the weekend of his birthday together but then saved the big celebration for when his family came down the following weekend. Neal's parents were able to come to town so us, along with our brother Scotty, were able to go out Friday night to celebrate our Nealdo. Neal chose Samurai 21 for dinner :) It was so good that I think I might choose the same for my birthday dinner :) We had an amazing time catching up and enjoying the food together. I even got to watch Char Char (my mother-in-law) get slapped in the face by a shrimp!!! hahaha Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating. But she did get in the face with a shrimp when our chef tried to throw it into her mouth. Priceless. After dinner we came home and enjoyed some home-made (by me) peach cobbler and vanilla bean ice cream. He loved it! It was fun to veer aware from the usual birthday cake. He got spoiled with cupcakes last week so I knew we needed to change it up for his next celebration.
Biggy Nealson got spoiled... once again... by his sweet parents. He was surprised with some really nice shoes that he's been NEEDING for a while now :) He would never admit that they were a need ... but really ... they were a need.
*I'm still waiting on more pictures from the rest of the weekend. Neal's parents used their camera most of the time so I'll post some more later :)
