IT'S FINALLY HERE!!! The 2011 Dixie Rebels season begins tomorrow. The Rebels are a semi-pro football team here in St. George. They took over the Rebels name after Dixie traded to become the Red Storm. I think the semi-pro team got the better end of the deal :) All the girls on my dance team (Kalamity) dance for the Dixie Rebels too. We have a really "original name" of the Dixie Chix... can you tell that a man picked the name? haha We've already performed at 2 pre-season games but our first season game is tomorrow! I'm so excited for the season to start. They are defending champions from last year! Here's a picture of me with the team. These girls are all so amazing and a lot of fun to be around. I always tell them, "Now that I'm knocked up, your youthful vigour keeps me young!"
Practices and games have been great so far. I'm finally feeling better and have my energy back so this team keeps me going! I get a great workout at all our practices and an even better one at the games... I swear Liam is going to come out dancing.
The games are Saturday nights at 7pm at Dixie's Field, come out and support if you can!!! :)
