It's Booked!

This past week Neal and I hit our 10 month mark- you know what that means? Anniversary time!!! Neal and I decided before we got married that we'd switch off planning anniversaries. Since he planned our Honeymoon, I get to be in charge of planning our One Year Anniversary :)

We decided to spoil ourselves now since we probably won't be able to pick up and leave for a week once we have kids. Neither of us have been on a Mexican Cruise so we thought it's be perfect for this trip since we can drive to LA and avoid paying airfare. The drive is only 6 hours so it will be well worth it! :) So- it's officially BOOKED!

We leave 2 weeks after our Anniversary(spetember 19th) on October 3rd and travel on a 7 day cruise to Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, and Mazatlan. I can't believe it's only 3 months away! Right now I'm not ready to go on vacation again but come October- I will be SO ready to get out of here and enjoy the week off with nealioso :)
***nealioso is his new nickname for all mexican traveling.

Best thing about this week- I won't be forced to go snorkeling!!!! Neal (being the sweet husband that he is) thought it would be the "perfect" off shore excursion to go deep sea snorkeling for our honeymoon cruise. He paid all this extra money for nothing! Apparently, I didn't express to him enough that I am absolutely terrified of getting eaten by a shark. Therefore, snorkeling is not my forte. I promise promise I tried to be a good sport about it and did the catamaran ride out there, got my gear on, jumped in the water, clinged to my husband for dear life, but did not survive 4 minutes in the water.

I began hyperventilating because of the hallicunations I kept having of a huge shark coming out of nowhere and bringing me to my death. I was CONVINCED a shark was just waiting to eat me. I couldn't handle it and had to get out. So, poor Neal, I ruined his special surprise by freaking out about the potential shark attack. He kindly swam in with me and calmed me down once I was out of the water :)

So- this time- I get to choose our off shore excursion and we are going ZIP LINING! I talked to so many friends that have done it and it's something we've always wanted to do! I am so excited to see the jungle and the monkeys :)
