Friday night we decided to try and beat the heat and get out of town! It's been in the 110's the past couple weeks so we needed a little break. Our "fun couple friends" invited us up to their cabin in Pine Valley (45 min.outside of St. Geez) for a quick get-a-way. We left right after work and met all the couples up there, Lenny and Oscy got to join in too :)
Nealio was the BBQ MASTER and was in charge of the grill for the evening. He made some hamburger patty's on steriods- delicious.
Each couple got their own four wheeler and we set out on an adventure! Driving through a beautiful meadow we spotted a herd of cows. We made a couple of bad decisions which ultimately led into us driving home covered in pretty fresh cow pie leftovers :( Bad decision #1: Never let nealson drive... maniac. Bad decision #2: Don't drive through a meadow full of cows... there WILL BE cow droppings that can get picked up in your tires and splash all over you. Not fun.
Here's the whole gang after our eventful ride. Lenny got to join in the picture too- he's sensitive and I didn't want him to feel left out. I had no idea where Oscar was but in all honesty... who cares, right!?! Leonard is the golden child anyway... literally.
We all had such a great time hanging out, eating, and playing ultimate charades. The guys creamed us by beating us by 12 points. That's unheard of in my world. Neal never beats me. Ever. So it was a sad ending to a great night. We can't wait to go on more adventures with these guys! Only 3 more months of summer weather left!!!!!
