A bad dog and a traitor!

That's it! Nealioso has had enough! He broke and finally forked up the money to pay for Leonard to go to obedience school. I was against it at first because, hey, my dog is perfect- right? Wrong- according to Neal. And probably according to all of our guests that come over and see Leonard lounging on the couch and watching him put his paws up on our counters and tables so he can join in the the conversation (or steal the food). Neal called DogTown, a local in-home training company, and had a trainer come straight out.

Leonard, against his will, was forced to fast the night before. They told us that our dog needed to be hungry and ready to learn! The trainer arrived early this morning and put him to work! I was pleasantly surprised with how good everything went. The trainer was awesome, Leonard is the smartest most handsome dog, and I have to give props to my amazing husband for setting this thing up.

We're now involved in a 4 week training program. The trainer will come to our house once a week to work with us and Leonard.... yep- I said us. We have homework assignments every night. Apparently the majority of the time dogs have bad habits is because of the owners behavior? Crazy, right? The trainer didn't like it at all when I told her I thought it was cute when Leonard jumps up, puts his paws on my shoulders, and we dance. No treats for that trick I guess....

Biggy Nealson's and I are both very excited about this- we're learning a lot! Maybe we can train our kids someday to "come" "sit" and "stay" when we tell them to. Wishful thinking, right? :)

In other news, THE OFFICE HAS CHANGED! We received word on Friday that one of our team members was a sell out and shippped him and his family up to the SLC. Not Cool. Apparently a better salary, benefits, and location is worth leaving this fun-incredible-coveted office?

As soon as we found out- KJ (my female partner in crime) and I decided that we'd help the little snake out of here. No longer did he deserve our respect- and plus- KJ wanted his office space. His office went from this....

to THIS in a matter of minutes!!!! He hadn't come into work yet for the day, we found out from the FB the night before.

We helped him get on his way by backing all his personal belongings into a box that would greet him at the doorway on his last day of work.

He wasn't too happy about it. I don't know if it's because he's sad he has to leave all us fun people or he was upset that he didn't get to do the whole "pack your belongings and get out" scene and say goodbye to everyone.

We didn't want to make it a sad day so we decided to go out and celebrate his new "big change" and have one last final team builder (until next quarter without Brandon). Brandon chose lunch and a movie. Great idea to see Inception but bad idea for Pirate Island Pizza- did you know that you can get an awesome eye patch for just 15 tickets at the arcade in Pirate Island Pizza?

The following day we sent out a mass e-mail to all those employees in our department from Utah.
"Brandon has always been a force in personality in St. George. His gregariousness and general joviality go unmatched. He is also by far the best drummer on the team. We will miss much about Brandon, namely: his father/son relationship with Joe Bowcutt, his sense of humor, terrible musical taste, sweet running Tiger poster, Glenn Beck discipleship, his inability to keep his shirt tucked in, his belief that America’s greatest living actor is Jack Black, his love of the cartoon Bravestarr, and his repeated off pitch renditions of “Defying Gravity” from the Broadway smash hit musical “Wicked.”
Neal and I spent a lot of time with him and his wife on date nights. We will greatly miss them and wish them the best of luck. I guess Leonard will miss his sister Lucy too, she'll be making the trek up to SLC with them :)
As for us at the office- we're moving on to bigger and better things! Well, not yet. But we will be! Someone from the Salt Lake team will be transferring down here. We're now coming up with an innitiation process for our new team member. They are scheduled to be here by August 1st so I need some ideas people! Go ahead and leave a comment if you have any crazy ideas of what we can do to our next victim of the office. Stay tuned :)
