Our hospital stay was like heaven on earth (minus the food). It really was like a mini vacation! I loved all my nurses and had such a picture perfect recovery the second time around. I soaked up every minute of my one on one time with Kate. She loves to cuddle and loves to eat haha I'm so glad she's a good eater because it made breastfeeding so much easier.
Since we delivered at Lakeview, Grandma Charlene was able to stop by the room during her breaks at work. It was so fun getting some company!
One night I had some minor complications with my o2 levels so I got some oxygen. I slept so good that night! It cleared up by the next day :)
This picture shows just how tiny she is! To the left is a cupcake (made by Charlene for all the nurses). Her face is almost the same size haha She is too cute, I can't get over how much I love her!
By day 2 Liam was a little more excited about his baby sis. He was even ready to hold her! My heart melted during this moment, it's the best seeing the bond between siblings.
Neal was a huge help throughout the week and came to the hospital as much as possible. He couldn't take his eyes of his new baby girl. She's already got him wrapped around her pudgy little finger haha
Liam was great company too.... to keep him busy we let him take baths everynight haha He loved it... and we did too since it meant he had to stay in one place.
This picture just makes me want to cry! These 3 are my whole world! I am the luckiest to have them as my family.
