The Burks: Our first weeks with Kate

OUR STORY

We met in college, became best friends, and decided that just wasn't good enough. In September 2009 we were married and sealed to each other in the Salt Lake Temple.

We live in Salt Lake with our kids Liam and Kate. We have one child who had a 'change of address' and now resides in Heaven, we miss Finn terribly but cannot wait to be with him again someday.

Together, we own our own business so we get to be husband/wife AND co-workers... YAY!

I keep the blog updated because....
a) I want my kids to be able to read it someday
b) Share our lives with family and friends
c) To keep my sanity! I love writing and find it therapeutic to get all my feelings out.

Our first weeks with Kate

I'm not exaggerating... Kate is an angel baby. Sent straight from heaven. She is so perfect! I haven't heard her cry yet which is amazing. I'm sure it's cute but I'm just grateful for how good she is. She's a great eater and sleeper. I'm just in shock! ha I keep saying that Heavenly Father blessed us with her because now I want to have 7 more kids. That's just how easy it is with her, it's amazing :)

yay! baby kate's are the best. I love to hear when people say they want a big old bunch of kids when they have a new baby- they are just so special! adjusting can be super- hard and there are a bajillion factors, but I'm glad you are looking for and enjoying the good!
