It was at my Nana's house and I couldn't believe how many people we were able to pack into that house. Keep in mind that my Dad comes from a family of 13 kids so it gets pretty crowded when spouses, kids, grandkids, and cousins all show up. We wouldn't have it any other way though. We loved visiting with our family we only get to see every couple of years. It was fun to celebrate all together!
Each year the grand kids do a Pollyanna or Secret Santa gift exchange. Liam could not have gotten a more perfect gift, trains! His absolute favorite right now. In fact, any form of transportation is his favorite' cars, trucks, trains, airplanes, and skateboards. Yes, skateboards. He's obsessed with tech decks.
Here's Liam and my cute cousin Maria playing together. It was so good to spend time with all of the cousins!
The photo below was taken shortly after midnight.... we were in for a very long night.
Before bed it's our Christmas tradition to open one present. Each year we get a new set of Christmas pajamas and a book about the Savior and the true meaning of Christmas.
These are my two cousins Danny and Sean. Please notice our drinks of choice. Coke, Beer, and a sippy cup.
I had so much fun spending time with my brother this trip. He's truly the best and always so much fun to be around. I'm very grateful to always have him.
Once all the guests left we were able to kick back, relax, take our clothes off (well, Liam did), and read our bedtime story.
Liam knows that he needs to be sleeping in order for Santa to come down the chimney. We cuddled for a while and then headed to bed. We were all so excited for Christmas morning!
