A new beginning

So we made it! Saturday we drove up to Salt Lake. Can I just tell you how fun it is to drive a 2 door car, packed with stuff, with Leonard AND Liam. Time of my life. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, I was stressed out the entire time though. We made sure to make lot's of stops but my biggest concern was making it through Nephi. I haven't made that drive in the drivers seat since I was in my rollover accident just 3 years ago. Panic came over me as I passed the accident site. You can still see where my car hit and rolled, it ruined part of the hill and killed all the grass so the snowmuffin (my beloved car) just might be immortalized on that hill!  I stayed calm and called Neal as soon as I made it through that wretched town. Man was I proud of myself!

We got into town and were able to make it over to our new townhome. Keep in mind- we've NEVER seen it. All we had was pictures from the internet listing and my mom's opinion. When we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised. Not my favorite paint colors, and no backyard for the dogs... but overall we were really happy.

Over the next few days we had family come over and help us unpack. We took a couple trips to legacy parkway and enjoyed our new neighborhood. At first we were really sad about missing SG but now that we're more settled in we really love our place. We're happy with the home and are starting to make it our own. I'm hoping in the next couple weeks we can throw a housewarming party to have some friends over to see it!

I started work on Monday and it's been great! I have a lot of friends that work here so it's nice to be around more girlfriends at work instead of burly mean.We have those too, but they don't come with us girls on our diet coke runs and park breaks. It's been a lot of fun. I LOVE my new manager, and my new little office. It's a nice change. I'm sure going to miss the daily craziness of my old office, this place is much more... corporate? Too many leaders around here haha We have to keep it professional at this location.Boo.
