Oh Baby!

I was about to do his 3 month post and realized that it's way past that (and I've already done one) so I just wanted to give some more updates on our little man.

He loves to smile at us now, all the time. It's the best feeling in the world to have him see you and then get this awkward adorable cheesy grin on his face. I can't help but laugh every time. He has the most unique crooked smile that is so expressive I can tell exactly what he's thinking. Or I pretend to know and act like I'm talking for him. It usually comes out in ugly baby talk but nonetheless...very funny. Oh! And we've heard a couple belly laughs, I cannot wait for that to become more frequent!

His Pop Pop (my dad) asks for his 'Liam Fix' every day. We send him a text or e-mail with a snapshot of Liam and he loves it! We have quite the hard time getting him to hold still so most pictures are pretty blurry. Liam is a mover and shaker! He is learning to roll over on his own and actually enjoys tummy time. He looks like a little turtle on the floor when he does it and again... I can't help but laugh at him.
Liam is becoming very adament about expressing what he wants. I can tell the difference between his cries/whines now. He's obsessed with grabbing things, too! He loves grabbing mommy's hair and holding his 'snuggly'. Anything he can get his hands on he shoves in his face and screams at it.
He's learning how to sit up in his bumbo but he'll only stay there if he gets to watch cartoons. The new flat screen TV helps, too :) He's growing so fast! He's barely 3 months and he's alraedy in 6 month clothes... he still eats like a hog. Boy are we proud of him! haha
My absolute favorite thing right now is when he wakes up in the morning and I get to go steal him out of his crib. I love being able to pick him up and comfort him right away. This usually happens between 6 and 7 so he's ready for a bottle and then ready to go back to bed. We warm up a bottle together and crawl back into bed with Neal and cuddle all morning! It's the best. He drinks his bottle and falls right back asleep next to me. It makes it THAT much harder to have to get up and get ready for work but it is definitely the best part of my day. I love being a mom!
