The Irish are here!

Gosh time is just flying by! I get so caught up being a mom and doing day to day things that this blog has been on the backburner. I have so much to catch up on so here is my first attempt :)

Last weekend my family came to visit us! My cousins Meghan and Collen and my Aunt Kathy. These are my closest cousins. We did everything together when we were little. Once my family moved to Salt Lake (from California), my brother and I would visit them at least twice a year. We always looked forward to these visits because #1: they always lasted 2 weeks, #2: it was always a great time. I love this family so much and miss them like crazy! We still manage to see each other at least twice a year, the visits aren't as long but they are just as fun.

Here I am with my cousin Colleen, can you see where the Irish red hair comes from? Love this girl, she's been like a sister to me.
My Aunt Kathy! This was her first time meeting Liam. He's the first grandbaby on my mom's side of the family so every one has been so excited to meet him. Aunt Kathy was wonderful with him that weekend, he loved just being held by her and hanging out on her lap. She is such a great grandma!
On Saturday Neal and I took the girls caving while my aunt stayed home with Liam. It was so nice to get out of the house and enjoy beautiful St. George fall weather. We went to the caves where I used to go with my friends in college. We always went at night and we always went with locals, that's why we were able to find the entrance every time. I thought I would remember but we searched and searched, in broad daylight, and never found the right entrance. We found a couple other ones that got us into the caves but we never made it into the main chamber. Huge disappointment but we still managed to have a good time.

Here I am showing my spelunking skills and still managing to make a photo op out of it.
According to this pictures, one would assume I'm not very good at caving. I seem to always be falling.
This is Liam's FAVORITE outfit. My family got the biggest kick out of it, Liam not so much. He had a constant confused look on his face as if he was saying, "Why are you dressing me like a leprechaun?"
Can you tell we're related? haha This is my cousin Meghan. We always get each other confused when we look at pictures we've taken together.
Liam was so dirty and messy that we just HAD to give him a bath. Not really... we just wanted to show them how much he loves bath time and how cute he is. I still deem it a win-win situation for all of us :)
Here's the four of us in Snow Canyon National Park
The weekend was filled with going out to eat, shopping, and just spending a lot of time together. They loved holding Liam, I'm so glad they got to meet him! It was hard to say goodbye to them but we're hoping to make it out to California early next year for another visit :)
