Remember when you were little and your parents explained to you that the stork is delivering your baby brother or sister? Well, we're on stork watch here! We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our sweet Liam. Hopefully our stork has some good directions though... we're getting a little antsy and we don't want him to be late!
My doctors appointment went great today! Neal and I were both so excited to hear Liam's heartbeat again and get an update on my progression.
As of now, I'm almost to a 3 and 80% effaced :) He swept my membranes to help my body along. He said that if the procedure works, I'll go into labor tonight! If it doesn't work, I'll know by tomorrow morning and then we'll just have to play the waiting game.
Dr. Chalmers told me to stay active and he'll be seeing me soon enough! As soon as we left his office, we went straight over to the temple to walk around. We did this last night, too. Neal has been so sweet and just holds my hand as I waddle around :) We love being by the temple and talking about meeting our future son. I guess future isn't the right word because he's already our son. But we are just ready and anxious to meet Liam for the first time.
I can't wait to see him for the first time. I can't wait to hold him and see Neal with him. I can't wait to see what he looks like. I keep imagining him with Neal's eyes and I'm just so excited. We are both anxiously awaiting his arrival and can't believe that the time is finally here :)
