Parents-in-training....

Our good friends Mal and Pete were in town over the weekend. They went and saw The Little Mermaid at Tuachan and asked us to watch their sweet Hadlee. I love this little girl so much. Neal and I were both so excited to watch her and play parents for a night haha We felt like we were playing "pretends."

I pretended to be a mom and sat on the blanket with miss Hads while Neal pretended to be a dad and washed the windows... that's how its supposed to work right?

Oscar was very excited to have Hadlee come and play with him...
Until she tried to give HIM kisses...
He's convinced that girls have cooties so he was a little hesitant.

But in the end he loved her and was pretty surprised when I told him that she had to leave.

While Oscy wallowed in sadness Neal took over and watched the "Jesus Movie" with Hads. She was a little more interested in pretending the TV was a set of drums but we still think she had a good time :)
Thank you Mal and Pete for trusting us with your little girl. We had so much fun with her and we can't wait until we have one of our own :)
