Today is Neal's first and last half father's day. My dad told me to give him half a card today and give him the other half in September once Liam is born. Apparently father's day doesn't count for Neal until he's changing diapers and chasing a screaming kid around the house.
I wanted to celebrate anyway because Biggy Nealson is a father in my book!!!
Neal goes into Liam's nursery all the time to look around. I figured I'd hide is little present in there for him to find it when he went into the room this weekend. Sure enough, Saturday afternoon he walked in and took a look in the crib and found a special surprise!
I made him a Candy Father's Day Bouquet! I had to make him something since we have an unborn son and two doggy children.... none of them are capable of making a gift so I had to step in for them. Slackers.
Happy Father's Day to my sweet husband- I love you more than you'll ever know :)
