Back to school... Back to school....

Once I found out I was pregnant I went on a short break from school. I was so sick my frist trimester that I decided to finish up my last class and wait until I got into my second trimester. This is the first week since then that I'm finally getting back to my normal self and have the energy to return to school. I talked to my Academic Advisor and he scheduled me out to graduation!!!! (July 2012) :) So- a week from Monday, I can continue on in my Masters program. I'm going to finish 3 more classes before the baby gets here and complete one more while on my maternity leave. Once January 2011 comes, I will only have 5 classes left! January to July of next year is going to be insane for me. I'm going to be working full-time, with a baby, and finishing up my schooling. I don't know how I'm going to do it but I know that I have to. Neal and I have both had an overwhelming feeling to get me back in school so I can finish my degree. I get such great tuition benefits that I would be stupid not to take advantage of it right now. Honestly, school is not my biggest priority- my family is. But if something ever happened to Neal in the future and I had to step in and provide for a family, I want to have my Master's degree to help secure better job opportunities. Finishing this degree will be hard but the security it will bring to our family will be worth it. It's been so exciting to talk to Neal about next year... the big 2012! Our sweet little boy will finally be here and we will both graduate!!! I decided to walk in May here in Utah so my whole family can come. Even though I don't finish classes until July, they are still letting me walk at the E-Center (or Maverick Center) graduation in May 2012. Neal on the other hand is going ALL OUT!!! He finishes his classes in June but he is going to graduate in Phoenix, AZ at the Phoenix Stadium! :) This graduation ceremony is huge!!! I am so excited that we get to go and watch him walk for graduation there! It's going to be so much fun :) Exciting stuff, though... but we have a long road ahead of us. I know that we can do it! ;) Wish us luck!!!
