Rewind....

So- do you remember the benefit concert I was in a couple months ago for Kalamity? Well, I just got some more pictures back from it :)

At the end of the show, Tia and the team presented me with the award for MVD (most valuable dancer) haha I was shocked to have been given this amazing award. I love my team so much and they make every minute of practice worth it. We have so much fun together and I'm so grateful that I get to spend time with these girls 3 days a week! I love being around such fun, inspiring, and talented girls. It truly is a blessing to be involved with such an amazing organization and team! We love what we do and it always shows in our dancing.

After the show was over, my number one priority was to find my BIGGEST support and give him a huge hug and kiss! I spotted him quickly and jumped off the stage and into his arms! That could have ended up really bad but I am lucky enough to have a husband that can catch :)

I am so grateful for Mr. Nealson!!! He is the cutest and most supportive husband :) He learned early what it meant to be married to a dancer and I love him for it. He surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of white roses- they were perfect! I'm one of those girls that says I don't need flowers but who am I kidding... they made my night :)

THE BURKS! Biggy Nealsons parents came to watch, too!!!!

It meant SO much to me to have them there to support me that night. They are an amazing support system for Neal and I. I was so excited and grateful that they were willing to drive down for the weekend to come watch me dance. They are both amazing and Neal and I are so lucky to have parents that love and support us so much in life.

So.... since all of this- we've had tryouts for the new team and added a couple more girls. I am beyond excited for this upcoming year! We already started working on material for our 2011 show, now we just need to find a family in St. George to support throughout the year! :)
