Unwrapped

This past weekend was packed with driving! I had my contemporary dance concert up in Zions this weekend. I was up there Thursday (for dress rehearsal), Friday, and Saturday! Neal was a little sweetheart and drove me up early everynight so that I didn't have to drive by myself :) He hung out at an internet cafe a couple hours before each show and then met me at the theater at 8. He was there everynight giving a standing ovation at the end of the concert! I am so grateful that he supports me and all of my "extra baggage". Life still doesn't slow down when you get married :) I told him that he needs to start practicing watching dance a lot since our kids will be dancers.... even if they're all boys. (Neal, my dad, and my father in law are going to kill me if they read this)

We performed to the instrumentals from Nightmare Before Christmas, the piece was called, "Unwrapped". It was a contemporary/modern/hip hop....? I don't really know how to describe it, it was one of a kind lol We were dressed up as dolls and played up the whole "no strings attached" cliche. I'm pretty sure closing night we made some little kids in the audience cry... we were that creepy.

Sorry peeps, I couldn't contain myself- I had to take a new profile pic for my myspace page.

Saturday morning I went on an adventure with Neal to attend a Grand Opening for a new Ence Community that he's been working on the marketing for. The new community was behind me but Neal didn't design it so I had no desire to capture it.

Saturday night we were blessed with our brother's presence. Nate, my brother in law, and some of his friends from highschool stayed with us Saturday night. They came in like a lion and out like a lamb... towels in the washer and everything :) It was so good to see Nate and we look forward to being reunited with the WHOLE Burk Clan in just over a week :) We'll be staying with Neal's parents for two days when we get back from New Jersey.
We have a packed two weeks ahead of us with much to look forward to :) We'll keep you updated on our adventures of the Eclipse Premier, Traveling with the Brophy's, and the JERSEY SHORE!!!!
