Saturday I spent my afternoon at the pool with Pete and the preggo lady. Mallory didn't have the decency to offer me help by putting sunscreen on my back so of course I know have an awesome sunburn. Neal spent his afternoon buying his new baby.... a smoke BBQ. I can't complain though because what goes into that BBQ comes out delicious :)
Saturday night Neal and I joined Will and Tere for an ev'ning at the DAYS OF CAMELOT. We got free tickets (thank goodness) from Will's work so we all decided it would be fun to go check it out. Boy were we right :) We got to see fireeaters, pheasants with wheelbarrows, mudwrestling wenches, bellydancers, and JOUSTING!!!
Neal claims that it wasn't jousting, he said that it was more like a bunch of drama club drop-outs poking eachother with sticks. Either way, I was entertained and tried to convince Neal to buy some armor... he didn't go for it.
My favorite part was the petting zoo! Tere spent a pretty one hundred pennies and bought us some farm food to feed to the animals (Leonard would tell you it was just cheap dog food). I LOVED being able to pet the cute baby lambs. I tried to do a photoshoot with one of the adult goats and I got sneezed on! It was very disrespectful and I told Nealson that we had to leave immediately.

***A very unfortunate event occured on Sunday and all my my pictures were erased on my camera. It must have been some type of voodoo because I have no idea how it happend. I will post more pictures once my lazy friends get around to updating their blogs :)

It's nice to relive the old spirits by dressing up on special occasions. But dressing up in medieval style just wont work if you don't have the right tools and costumes with you. It's best to invest on accessories that would really make it more realistic. fantasy swords
