I learned that I am NOT a Nascar driver. I was driving from St. George to Salt Lake in hopes of making it to my best friends wedding dinner. Unfortunately I never made it because I was stuck in the hospital! As I was passing through Nephi, I hit the tire barrier and over-corrected which caused me to roll my car 3 and a half times... I saw half because I didn't quite make it to 4. I got stuck upsidedown and slid about another twenty feet. Luckily, the men that witnessed the accident in the car behind me were off duty EMT's and my own guardian angels. They were by my side pulling me out of the car within minutes of the accidents, called the ambulance, and let me use their phone to call Neal..."Um... I just rolled my car, I'm okay, but I'll be at the Nephi Hospital." Not exactly what you want to hear on the phone when you're 23 hours away! Neal left work, jumped in his car and drove up to Nephi. Definitely not a good day.
Biggy Nealson's PROPOSED TO ME!!!! Two days after I got home from Salt Lake, Neal surprised me with a proposal! We were planning on going to a movie, I had to go pick him up, he wasn't answering his phone so I was forced to go into his apartment and get him. When I walked in there were roses, candles, and pictures EVERYWAY! Neal was standing on the back porch getting a beautiful candlelight dinner ready. Everything was perfect, he know's me too well :) He proposed, gave me a "fatty" bling bling, and I said yes :)
And he became a po' broke boy....
And I fell even more in love with him :) So needless to say, May 2009 was a pretty monumental month for us. It was also the month that we starting building our home and I was given the job offer at University of Phoenix. A lot has happened since then.. I mean geez, we're now married with 2 doggy children! Life is good, and we fall more in love with eachother each day.
