OUR STORY

We met in college, became best friends, and decided that just wasn't good enough. In September 2009 we were married and sealed to each other in the Salt Lake Temple.

We live in Salt Lake with our kids Liam and Kate. We have one child who had a 'change of address' and now resides in Heaven, we miss Finn terribly but cannot wait to be with him again someday.

Together, we own our own business so we get to be husband/wife AND co-workers... YAY!

I keep the blog updated because....
a) I want my kids to be able to read it someday
b) Share our lives with family and friends
c) To keep my sanity! I love writing and find it therapeutic to get all my feelings out.

BBQ's, Puppets, and Pinatas

Tuesday night we were invited as VIP members to our neighborhood bbq that Ence Homes hosted... you can tell it's VIP because we had the whole seating area to ourselves... go us.

Don't mind me stuffing my face with my accompanying medusa hair :)

This weeks relief society activity was a humanitarian project, apparently there are some needy greedy kids that wants the cutest sock puppets delivered to them in Nauvoo. I decided to support my RS Chicks and make 2 puppets... Dolly the Dog and Lucy the Lion.

Here's my girl! Tere (Tee-air) and I were the youngest and hippest sista's there banging out some cute sock puppets.

FELIZ CINCO DE MAYO (Happy May 5th) !!!! :)

I was nominated the President of the Party Planning Committee at the office... maybe nominated wasn't the right word. I pretty much stole the idea from the office because Angela is the best role model for me and I want to be an office party planner. I put together a mexican potluck. We each brought a little something to throw into the meal so we could celebrate Mexico's "good try" on a Cinco de Mayo long ago. In America- we celebrate our wins (Independance Day) .... In Mexico- they celebrate their attempts (they ended up losing the war anyway). To each thier own.

I love my co-worker girls! We couldn't wait to stuff our faces with the greasy mexi nugget tacos.

Is it just me or is Brandon trying to suck in? And look at Joe in the middle... he is the sweetest old man in the world! We call him pops... you can guess why.

Here is our fearless leader Jon explaining to us the meaning of Cinco de Mayo. It was a great history lesson but I will still continue to sing, "Proud to be an American" at the top of my lungs at home so Neal knows without a doubt that I love America.
