Last Saturday we were invited to a mexican potluck dinner at our friend's Will and Tere's house. As most of you know, I'm a horrible cook. Neal was busy with homework so I decided to take charge and make something for the party. I went straight to Albertsons and bought some authentic mexican taquitos that I could warm up in the oven :) They were delicious! I don't think anyone else realized how good they were because I think Neal and I were the only ones who ate them. Oh well.
Apparently I'm really good at beer pong... on the wii. I beat anyone who crossed my path and got everyone "virtually wasted". Eventually they got bored playing against me because I was so good. Looks like I have a hidden talent. Go me.

Aw, Mr. Lenikins and Nealio :)

So we had a bit of a catastrophe last Sunday. Neal was being a sweet spirit and left to go do his hometeaching, I decided that I would check any shocking fb status's on my news food. Big mistake. As I was walking over to our kitchen table, I dropped our BRAND NEW Macbook Pro. Ugghhh I'm so stupid. I looked at it on the ground and prayed that nothing happened to it. From the outside, it looked fabulous, I thought I was in the clear. Nope, dead wrong! I open the laptop and about died when I saw the shattered screen. I started bawling and felt like the most horrible person! Seriously, I just broke my husband's baby :(
When Neal got home later that night, he walked in the door and I just fell into his arms crying. He was the biggest sweetheart and looked at me and asked if I was okay. What? Are you serious? Of coarse I'M okay but your laptop sure isn't! He said that it's just a laptop and we'll get it fixed. He's amazing and I love him!
So here is Neal, being the hard worker that he is, doing his homework on his laptop with the shattered screen :( Neal works full-time at Ence Homes in the marketing department AND goes to school full-time at University of Phoenix. So, everynight after work he comes home and is glued to his computer. Sometime he'll go into his office to get some peace and quiet from all of us hooligans (Me, Leonard, and Oscy pants). I miss him when he's in the other room :/ BUT I am so grateful that he's not at dixie doing nightclasses. I LOVE that he's able to do all his schoolwork from home. He is the hardest worker and I'm so grateful for him and all that he does for us and our future family :)

Tada!!! Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing... LENNY! Lenny LOVES to go running with us. Usually Neal will take him for a walk in the morning and I'll take him on one after work. We decided to switch it up a bit. I asked Neal if I could borrow his fruit boots so I could keep up with Leonard on our run. He helped me gear up and tie the roller blades, and even had us pose for a photo opp. before our adventure....

WHAT WAS I THINKING!?!?!?!

Our life together is everything that I ever wanted. We are learning so much about eachother, ourselves, and this big thing called marriage. Life is good :)
