The office... crazy as ever. Last week we got a little bored. I was in a meeting with my boss, Jon, as were going over the paperwork we see someone high-kick in the doorway. Lo and Behold- Brendan can kick his right leg above and beyond his head. (Later we found out he can do the splits...creepy) After discovering his hidden talent of highkicks, Jon (the manager) had the brilliant idea of daring Brendan to kick a folder out of his mouth. He accepted.. and this is what happened.
Good news though.. it worked. Brendan can officially kick a folder out of Jon's mouth. ( I apologize for the blurriness... Brendan has a swift leg)
Leonard... was my buddy this weekend. Neal had to go up to Salt Lake so we were left to fend for ourselves without a car (RIP snowmuffy). Saturday we got up early and cleaned. Leonard wasn't much help there because his new thing to do is toilet paper our room. If we don't shut the bathroom doors, we can always expect to see a trail of T.P. coming out of our bedroom. He's such a sweetheart. Saturdays are Lenny's day to go to the dog park. Since we didn't have a car, we had to make the trek by foot... all twenty minutes of it.
Leonard has graduated onto the Large Dog side of the dog park. He was greeted by 4 labs (1 with only 3 legs... buddy), a HUGE St. Bernard, and a sheep dog that wouldn't stop mounting the other dogs. I sat down, my book in hand (The Host), and settled in for a relaxing time. I took my usual spot on the bench. Instead of Neal at my side, there was a very mean stranger. I say very mean because of what happened next. As I'm reading, the lady rudely interrupts me and says,"Um... that dog just pee'd on you..." WHAT!?! FML. this stupid rat in a dogsuit (someone illegally let a small dog on our side) came and pee'd on my leg. The lady didn't have the decency to tell me as the dog was lifting his leg, she waited until he was finished. How polite of her. I refused to let that ruin our day, I doused my leg in slobbery water from someone's bowl on the fence line and went on with my day. We were there for over an hour, and with the grueling 20 minute walk back, we were both beat. Leonard and I decided to have a movie night. We watched IronMan and GI Joe. Leonard loves the cheesy lines and cool specialFX...
Us...as in Neal and I, are doing fabulous! We are both so ready to pack up and head to ORLANDO! We leave for Salt Lake Friday after work, and then we fly to Orlando early Saturday morning. We'll be there for a week so it's going to be a much needed break :) We can't wait to be with eachother 24/7, it's been a busy month! Work, School, Church Callings, and everything else going on has kept us busy. I thought life would slow down once we got married but I was so wrong. Life is great! We are so blessed to have eachother as a support system and we look forward to all that is to come :)
I'll make sure to post tons of pics from our first family vacation! :)
Oh my gosh I miss him already!! I wish you could bring him up to stay with me for the week!! Miss you girl!!!
