Our sweet sweet little boy had his first big birthday!
With his love of rides growing, we wanted to do his party at Jungle Jim's playground. Liam was SO excited to celebrate with his friends in family.
Liam loves his Grandma Charlene! He showed her the ropes on his favorite carousel in his newly made crown from his Daddy.
| Don't mind his lip, he fell on his way to the party and got a swollen lip. Oh the memories! |
No shoes for Liam yet- he hasn't quite learned how to walk. He got the royal treatment on his birthday and was carried to and from each ride.
Our BIG BOY loves going on the swings with his friends. This was the look on his face the entire time. I promise my son smiles (sometimes). He would have this blank stare, mouth wide open, and a tiny little scream coming out of him as he listened to the other kids.
Liam with some of his best friends Hadlee and Isaiah!
Isaiah let Liam take him for a spin on the jeeps. This ride is another one of Liam's favorites. He's not the safest driver though. Most of the time he has his eyes on us instead of the road ahead of him. Looks like Daddy has his work cut out for him when this kid turns 16.
My boys!!!! I love this picture of them!
My mom went above and beyond making the cupcakes for his party. They were a huge hit!
She even spent hours on a cake for Liam, his very own smash cake! Confused at first, but loving it by the end.
Our family of three! We are so happy for all the love that was felt this day as we celebrated Liam's birth just one short year ago. I'm still in denial that I have a child, let alone a one year old! Time is going by too fast and I just want him to stay my baby forever.
My sweet girlfriends all came out to support. It has been such a blessing to have them in my life. We've been friends since Junior High and continue to stay close. It's amazing how much we've grown from girls, to young women, to wives, and now mothers! I love them all so much!
Liam getting some 'philly swag' from his Pop Pop. My dad grew up wearing his Chuck Taylor All-stars and wanted his grandson to do the same. Plus- I'm slightly obsessed with these shoes anyway.
Every present Li Li opened he would hug it while saying, "Awwww". It was so cute! We are really looking forward to christmas this year with our little guy.
All of our supportive family! How cute is our little nephew Hudson?! Brynlee calls him Huddy Buddy and it's hilarious. Hudson and Liam are just 7 months apart and will be in the same grade as they get older. I'm glad that he'll have a cousin so close in age!
Here are the boys again. Daddy and Pop pop were showing Liam all of his toys.
The gorgeous grandma's! (Minus my mom Judy, Ni Ni).
Here's where the excitement began! Once all the presents were opened he was able to go back through and actually start playing with his toys! The rocket he's sitting on was from my sister and he is obsessed with it.
We are so in love with this little boy. The joy he brings to our life is indescribable. He smiles at us and our hearts are so full of love.We are so grateful that we were given the chance to be his parents. Days like today remind me of how truly blessed we are to have a happy and healthy baby boy and loving family and friends to support us.
