The Burks: Summer Nights at the Bubble

OUR STORY

We met in college, became best friends, and decided that just wasn't good enough. In September 2009 we were married and sealed to each other in the Salt Lake Temple.

We live in Salt Lake with our kids Liam and Kate. We have one child who had a 'change of address' and now resides in Heaven, we miss Finn terribly but cannot wait to be with him again someday.

Together, we own our own business so we get to be husband/wife AND co-workers... YAY!

I keep the blog updated because....
a) I want my kids to be able to read it someday
b) Share our lives with family and friends
c) To keep my sanity! I love writing and find it therapeutic to get all my feelings out.

Summer Nights at the Bubble

My handsome hot hockey playin' husband joined the bountiful rec league finally! He's been talking about doing it since we moved up here but he finally did it! I was so excited because I hadn't seen him play before. Every Wednesday night was spent at the bountiful bubble (ice rink).

It was so fun to watch him and hang out with the kids and our parents. Neal did awesome and I proud to say he was only ejected once for fighting! haha

Liam absolutely loved it. Neal even bought him his own hockey stick so he spent the majority of his time playing on the sides with the kids and every once in a while come sit by me and cheer, 'GO DADDY!'
