This summer continues to be the best one yet! It still hasn't hit me that I won't be going back to working full-time. I absolutely love spending my days with my kids. We've finally been able to join a play group! A play group!!!! Can you tell my excitement haha I've been looking forward to this for years and I'm so grateful that I finally can go to this kind of stuff with my kids and our friends.
I can tell that Liam loves having me home and I love knowing that Kate won't have to be in daycare full-time. Liam just seems like such a happier kid. I didn't realize the effects of it until after I had him home with me for a couple weeks. I know I did the best I could while having to work full time and starting our family but I know that this is the right choice for us right now. I am able to hug my kids all day long and tell them how much I love them. It's the best!
