Resignation

I always knew this day would come but it was still surreal when it actually became a reality. At the end of June I resigned from my job. The job I landed right out of college. The job that provided for my family for 5 years. The job that paid for my Master's degree. The job where I met some of my lifelong friends.

 

The University of Phoenix gave so much to me. I'm grateful for everything the company did but I was definitely ready to leave and start a new chapter in life. I packed up my stuff and my co-workers helped walk me to my car. I loaded my box AND my two kids and that was it. I was officially a stay at home mom and it felt good!
