The next morning came quickly and we were more than anxious to meet our baby girl. This time around it was really weird knowing that I was going to the hospital to have a baby! It was nice being able to take my time getting ready haha I woke up around 3:30 am to shower, get ready, and pack up.
Here we are ready to go at 5:30 am!

Minutes later I was wheeled into the OR where Neal and his mom were waiting for me. I chatted with all the doctors and nurses, made sure the sheet was up, I was so comfortable! I loved every minute of it! I couldn't feel a thing as they began the procedure. Seconds later they are pulling our little girl out and I hear her beautiful cry. It's the best feeling in the world knowing that she made it here safely! I got a quick look and she was taken into the other room to get cleaned up. Her daddy never left her side :)
As soon as they finished up my procedure I was wheeled back into the recovery. I couldn't believe how easy this was! It made me want to just do it over and over again! I anxiously waited for her arrival and soon enough Neal came around the corner holding our beautiful baby girl. I was so overwhelmed as he handed her to me and immediately felt our bond and special connection. We cuddled, did skin to skin, I couldn't stop kissing her head full of hair. It was hard to hold back all the tears, it's such an emotional moment but so beautiful. I was overwhelmed with gratitude for a healthy baby girl.
She has the most perfect little face and I couldn't stop staring, she is so beautiful and immediately brought such a special light to our family.
It was such a special (and quick) morning. I couldn't believe how fast everything had went. My doctor and nurses were amazing and took such great care of us. I couldn't wait for the rest of the family to meet her!
