Once we moved to Utah, we spent at least 2-3 weeks a year back in California. My brother and I would go back for 2 weeks in summer and 1 week over Christmas break. I looked forward to it every time, it was my home! 

I hope to keep that tradition with our kids and Liam has already been experiencing it. This summer Liam and I traveled to San Diego by ourselves. 1. We missed Neal terribly for not being able to make it due to work, and 2. It wasn't fun having to pay for a flight for the first time since Neal left Delta. Ouch.

Totally worth it though! We seriously had such a blast. It was a relaxing vacation spent with family and the beach. I think this year Liam finally 'got it'. He was a maniac and we couldn't keep him away from the waves! He loves playing in the sand, chasing birds, stealing kids toys, and getting his feet in the water. 

 My sweet Irish boy is so white he glows.... and we love it!

 My mom was such a help this trip! She loved spending time with 'her little man' and they played non-stop.

 This trip Liam learned how to say 'Co-Co' for his Aunt Colleen, it was so cute and we all couldn't stop laughing about it.

Liam loves his Ni Ni. She calls him 'her little man' and 'little buddy'. He loved spending time with his grandma, especially when she played with him at the park and cuddled on the couch. She is so in love with her one and only grandbaby!
