Wheeler Farm

A couple weeks ago a couple of my friends from high school formed a little play group! I was SO excited about it but also sad that I wouldn't be able to make it to many of the activities because of working full time. They set up the first group activity and I was determined to be there. I left work early, got Liam (basically giddy I was so excited), and headed to Wheeler Farm. I guess I was so excited because this is something we always talked about as friends growing up. You know- getting married, having kids, doing play groups and our kids will be best friends, and then they'll marry each other, and then we'll be related..... ha I'm not kidding though.

So we pull up, I can't find my friends, but Liam finds the Geese. We spent a good half hour yelling at geese, literally yelling, "NO!" over and over. Apparently he did not like the noises they kept making. He was trying to regulate.

Then we found the Moo's (cows).....

Then he found the Dutties (ducks).....
Then we FINALLY found our friends. Can you see all those cute girls?

I spent a good majority of the time chasing Liam around. He was having a ball. I was so looking forward to catching up with my girlfriends, relaxing at the park, watching our kids play peacefully together. Nope. not even close. My little maniac, who I'm so in love with, was running around with the chicken, chasing the birds, and screaming at all the animals. It was hilarious and he kept me busy. I never got to have my girl talk but I did get to have a wonderful afternoon with my little man. I look forward to our many adventures (and workouts for me) together. When people say, "little boys will keep  you on your toes!"... they aren't kidding :)
