Party like it's 1999

Our sister and brother-in-law celebrated their 6 yearanniversary last weekend. To celebrate, they got a VIP lounge area at a localclub for friends and family. It was a WHITEOUT! Everyone was supposed to showup in white and be prepared to dance. So we did just that. We showed up inwhite, prepared to dance, but somebody forgot their ID and that somebody wasNeal.

I begged them to let him him, “But we don’t drink, he won’tbe ordering anything, he’s my husband, I promise he’s over 21!!” Much to noavail, he was not getting in the doors. A loving, caring, compassionate wifewould call it a night and accompany her sweet loving husband home. You knowwhat I did, I peaced! I was so ready to go get my dance on, I love dancing andI didn’t want to miss this opportunity. Sad, right? Ha

But no really- Neal toldme to just go in and he’d grab Liam at the babysitters and then come back andget me. I knew I only had about an hour so I made the most of it and danced thenight away with my sister and her highschool friends. It was fun to seeeveryone in white and we had a blast dancing. But… I did miss Neal so I wasexcited to have him come back and get me.

I thought it was such a weird idea to do this for ananniversary but it was actually so much fun! The turnout was great, lots ofgood food, and like I said the dancing topped it off. I love my family and anyopportunity I have to spend with them I’ll take J
