Yes- we finally got out of this horrible weather! Weather here in Utah has been a drag. The inversion plus the temps constantly being below freezing has not made for a fun winter. I'm all about snow if I can stay inside by a fire and enjoy it from a distance, I don't enjoy driving in it. So- as soon as we found out Neal had an extra day off of work we hopped on a plane and went to see our family in San Diego.
My poor mom hasn't seen her grandson since May of last year! We were so excited to see her and the rest of the family. It was a quick trip but well worth it. We left Sunday morning and came home first thing Monday morning. We were there for less than 24 hours- pretty hardcore, right?
We spent the day in the sun walking around trails, visiting parks, and spending time with family. The best was just being able to see everyone again! I wish more than anything we lived closer.
