We started off our Christmas Eve by heading over to my sister Amy's house up in Sugarhouse. We got our white christmas so the weather was gorgeous but the roads were not so pretty. We were excited to get to the party and hunker down for the night.
The entire family (minus my nomadic brother Colin) slept over at the house that night. Santa had to deliver quite a lot of presents to this address!
Liam loved the Christmas tree this year. I would always ask, "Where's Christmas?" and he'd hurry over to the tree and point to it. He also loved to try to peek at the presents. We caught him numerous times trying to unwrap others gifts. Can you say naughty list?
Clarence the Elf dropped off some Christmas jammies for Liam later that night.
Through out the night we played many games but our favorite is always LCR (left, center, right). Look it up, it's a blast. Neal and I like to play but if we win we usually give the money back to everyone or we promise to buy all the kids a treat with it. That makes it okay, right? haha
Christmas morning was finally here and we're so glad Santa found us!
After opening presents with my family we headed back over to Neal's to meet up with more cousins.
Li Li loves his Grandpa Mark!
The three little rascals themselves! Santa left them their own reindeer this year.
Liam had a blast opening all of his presents this year. He loved the wrapping paper and caught on very quickly that this kind of paper you are allowed to rip- as opposed to his books I read to him at night.
I think Neal was even more happy with Liam with his loot. Look at that face! His parents SPOILED him and surprised him with a brand new snowboard! Now that we live up here he can finally put some use to it. This kid was so happy!
We had a wonderful Christmas season! I'm so glad we finally live so close to family and friends that we were able to celebrate this special holiday with all of our loved ones. It came and went too fast but boy am I ready for a new year :)
