The real deal

With our anniversary this year, I was blown away by the surprise Neal pulled on me. Our ACTUAL anniversary was very low key and kind of perfect. I got off work late, and luckily it was Neal's night off. We met up at a Japanese place for dinner and decided to bring our pride and joy with us, because family's stick together, right!? Well Liam had other plans. By 8pm, and before we were served dinner, he was done and ready to go to bed. Like right that second. We agreed so I fled like a criminal as Liam screamed the entire time as we exited the restaurant. I got home before Neal, put our baby to bed, and Neal finally joined me for a romantic dinner on the floor. It was japanese food, what can we say? So- we enjoyed our nice meal at home, with a sleeping baby, and reminisced over the last three years of marriage and all that we have been through. I surprised him with a piece of our wedding cake. Not the original cake, but from the same baker. Every  year we have cake from Mrs. Bakers, the cutest little bakery in downtown Salt Lake. They designed our wedding cake so we like to celebrate again each year with another little piece. It's a tradition of ours I never want to break.... because I really love that cake.
