Make Me Over!

With my upcoming beach trip, I wanted to spoil myself and get a bit of a makeover. During our girls weekend in St. George, I was able to get my hair colored, face waxed, eyebrows shaped, hair extensions, and lash extensions.

Chris Rock once said that the only thing real on a woman is the color of her roots. Well, that's not even real on me haha

My friend Sharla 'melted' my hair so my roots purposely look grown out. Yeah, I don't get it. But I love the look AND it's so much easier to manage. I was having to get my roots done every 5 weeks! So- this is a much easier look for me and a lot more manageable. (cheaper, too)

The lash extensions are something I've been wanting to get for literally a year but kept holding off. Now that I have them I wish I would have got them sooner! They are pretty pricey but luckily my good friend and hair stylist from St. George does them so I got a pretty good deal :)

I had Sharla put in hair extensions just in the front of my hair. Ever since I had bangs, it's been hard for me to grow out the front portion of my hair so I opted for the fakies to get me through the growing period. They worked! And I love them! They don't add any length to all of my hair but now the front and back are the same length, and my hair looks a little more full :) Always a good thing. 

Sharla taught Natacia and I how to do our brows. She waxed our faces and shaped our brows, then gave us a quick tutorial on how to do it ourselves for next time. 

I'm such a girl and I love spoiling myself like this. My wallet can't afford to do it all the time but when I'm able to I love to soak it all in. 

So.... find an excuse and splurge on yourself! It feels good :)
