V. 2

I feel like we are a new upgraded family or something. We bought a car. A SECOND car. For 3 years now, Neal and I have been sharing our 2 door Toyota Solara. Don't get me wrong, it's a great car, and it's been paid off for almost three years now so that makes it an even better car, but who were we kidding? We have 2 adults, 2 dogs, and a baby now. That carpooling business just wasn't going to work up in Salt Lake with both Neal and I working.

We knew once we were moved in we immediately had to find a car before he started work on Monday. So our search began on Monday and by Tuesday night we had a car in hand. I attributed this whole move to divine intervention, Neal just thought it was craziness. The move- not the divine intervention. But seriously, In less than one week, we managed to find renters, find a home, move to salt lake, and purchase a car? Yeah- we couldn't have done it by ourselves. People think we're nuts and I would agree. I can't believe that all of this worked out the way it did! It fell into place too perfectly and that's why we know we are supposed to be in Salt Lake. I don't know if there is any special reason, but for us, what has happened over the last month is proof to us that we need to be here.

Neal and I are still in shock that we own a second car. I didn't have to wake Neal or Liam up early to drive me to work today. I could go take a break and take the car anywhere I wanted and not have to worry about picking Neal and Liam up somewhere. It's just crazy to me. We always said that we wanted to go with one car as long as possible and I'm just amazed at how long we really could go! It's amazing the things you have to do when you have no other choice :)

We found the car online Tuesday morning and drove it home Tuesday night. The day was full of ups and downs and running paperwork around the valley but it worked out, and now we have a new (new to us) car!

It is so nice and we are so happy with our purchase! It's fun because I'm actually meeting Neal and Liam for dinner tonight... and I don't have to pick them up. We'll drive separately to a location, eat, and then drive separately home. Can you tell how excited I am? haha Well- and proud. Because who else can say that they survived sharing a car with their spouse the first 3 years of marriage!?!
