Boredom at work due to a crazy week and having to put in ten hours today has made me resort to filling out a Valentine's Day Survey. Yep- it's one of those days.
1. Name 3 things you love most about your honey.
-He's.
-All.
-Mine.
2. Is he a flowers and teddy bear kind of guy for v-day, or strawberries, champagne, and rose petals?
Neither. I never know what to expect with him and I think that's what I love most about holidays. He always comes up with something special for me that is specific to our relationship. I think the only time he's gotten me flowers is when he proposed and St. Patrick's Day last year. Perfect, right? haha And then he's done the strawberries and sparkling cider but I can't remember what the occasion was. Either way- both of those aren't really a part of our relationship, he changes it up a lot! What I look forward to most are receiving his special love notes, funny cards, or post-it's around the house.
3. Are you a sunset dinner on the beach kind of girl, or pop a movie in and relax on the couch?
Sunset dinner on the beach sounds relaxing and romantic until I think about the logistics of it. I'm not a fan of eating outside, so maybe if I was inside a restaurant on the beach then I would love it? I don't know- it's kind of unrealistic anyway being that we live in St. George, Utah. I would consider myself a more practical and low maintenance kind of girl. I LOVE renting movies and I LOVE homemade popcorn. Neal makes it for all our movie nights. I'm more comfortable at home, on our comfortable couch, relaxing, and watching a movie. I'm definitely a homebody now. I used to LOVE going out but once the weekends hit I'm just ready to be home with my little family... dogs included.
4. Tell us one thing you'd like to do with your significant one day.
Only one thing? Screw that, I have 3 and they all have something to do with traveling. I want to do a European Cruise, visit Ireland, and take Neal back to Hangzou, China. European cruise because you get to have the same room every night and they take you to every major city in Europe. One stop shopping baby! Ireland because it's been my dream to go there ever since I was little! I would love love love to be able to take Neal to Hangzou, China. I lived there for a summer back in college and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I would want to take him there to experience everything that I got to experience and more, I just know he would love it!
5. Tell us what you plan on doing on this Valentine's Day.
No plans, yet. It's on a Tuesday night... and we have a baby ... and I'm not feeling creative. Honestly, I'm hoping he's just going to come up with something cute. I'm going to get him a couple cards. We have a tradition of giving one another a serious card and then a funny one. I look forward to it every holiday. So- I need to spend some time this weekend getting that together. I guess I could scan pinterest too for some cute ideas but then I just get lazy. I see all these great ideas and I start pinning like crazy but I can never find the motivation to actually do it. Wifey Fail.
