Liam's one week appointment was pretty uneventful and I'd like to keep them that way :) Everything checked out normal! :) Healthy heart, bowels, growth, and successful procedure. And please don't make me go into details about what procedure I'm talking about. You know? The one that little boys get? :/
I had to leave the room but Neal was a good Dad and stayed right with him the entire time. The procedure was successful so I was invited back into the room. We were given the instructions for the upcoming week, I hope Neal was listening because the entire thing freaked me out haha
Good news is that Liam is ALMOST back to his birth weight! He was born at 7 lbs 8 ounces. Leaving the hospital he was only 6 lbs 13 ounces. So at this appointment we found out he was already back up to 7 lbs 5 ounces. Pretty close! I'm sure by the time this is posted he'll be back to his birth weight.
He is growing and changing every day! He seriously looks like a different little boy each time we wake up haha I love it though, we are having so much fun with him here with us. Grandma Charlene is coming soon and I can't wait for her to spend time with her newest grandchild. Miss Bryn finally has a cousin on the Burk side :)
THAT appointment was done for us in the hospital the day Kai was born. We heard a baby cry and thought, "Poor kid. What are they doing to him?" They brought Kai into us and said he was done. We didn't even know they were doing that to him and that was our baby crying! I let them have it for doing that to MY baby without even telling us.
