Liam's girlfriends...

After a week of having my parents here, a week of Neal's mom here, and then a week with my mom and brother, we were finally on our own! Only for a couple of days though haha My mom and brother went back to California on Monday and we left Wednesday for Salt Lake City. We were too anxious to introduce Liam to the rest of our friends and family so we decided to make a mini trip up north for his debut.

We stayed with the Burks and had a great time! I wish I took more pictures this weekend but we didn't take one! I had to steal one from my girlfriends. On Saturday the girls and I planned a lunch and shopping for Mal's birthday and so everyone could meet Liam. We met up at Brio at Fashion Place for lunch... I was 45 minutes late! With a newborn, I'm now late to everything! I felt so bad but the girls were very forgiving once they got to meet and hold Liam. He got passed around the table and won all of their hearts, I think he has 5 new girlfriends now!

I absolutely LOVED spending time with them. I miss them all so much and I know I always say that but it's hard living so far away from them. We are moving up to Salt Lake next summer and I am so excited to be closer to them, they are like family to me. We stayed at lunch for hours just laughing and catching up. We were talking about Mal's birthday coming up and couldn't believe that we're turning 24 this year! It seems so old haha We're all married (or soon to be), starting our families, working on our careers. It's just crazy! Kelsey is already awaiting the arrival of her second child! It's crazy how far all of us have come together. I still remember being in Junior High with them obsessing over The Backstreet Boys and N'Sync.
We are still young and hip though! This is a picture of us after lunch. They forced Kelsey and I to put on red lipstick so we can take a picture haha I'm such a doormat and fell under their peer pressure, the picture turned out cute so it was worth it.

  1. He is just so precious. We can't wait to meet him and you are looking fabulous. I'm glad that you are enjoying your new little guy. We can't wait to see him at Christmas. I am so sorry that I haven't mailed your gift yet. I am SUCH a slacker and need to step up my game to be the favorite Burk aunt (I know that I don't have much competition yet, but I need to get a head start : ) Keep the updates coming!
