Maternity Pictures

Sorry it has taken me forever to get these up on here! I've had them on facebook but wanted to put them on our blog for when we print it at the end of the year :)

While I was up in Salt Lake, I asked one of my best friends to do my maternity pictures for me. She's amazing and I was so excited about the shoot but still kind of nervous. I was so worried about how they would turn out. I wanted something simple and classy. There are way too many freaky maternity pictures. I am not into the whole bare belly exposure or anything else cheesy like that. I wanted something simple so that I could remember my first pregnancy and have some pictures that I can show our children someday. And hey- I figured now's the time to do it when this is my first pregnancy. Who knows what it will be like next time around since I'll be chasing Liam for the whole nine months!

I met up with Kelsey and we trekked to a field just behind her house. With it being gated off, I had two options - slip through the barbed wire or hop the fence. I chose option "b". I'm sure all her neighbors got a kick out of watching a pregnant woman in a dress hop this fence to go prance around in a field with a photographer haha

So here are some of my favorite shots. I am SO HAPPY with how they turned out. They are seriously exactly what I wanted from the shoot. She did an amazing job and I couldn't be more excited about the final outcome :) Thank you Kelsey!

This is such a special time in mine and Neal's life together. I'm so grateful that Kelsey was able to capture this photos for us and our future family :)
