Oh the joys of marriage...

Neal knew when he married me that I cherish a good bowl of ice cream. As friends, dating, engagement, and married- he has taken his fair share of late night trips to get some ice cream with me. He is very much aware of my love for ice cream. I even had the decency to warn him on our wedding day during our wedding dinner in front of friends and family as witnesses. He has no excuses.

Our latest argument we've had around the house starts with the items in our freezer. The holiday version of peppermint ice cream is now in stores and Neal made sure to pick it up on December 1st. Along with the peppermint ice cream, he was a sweet husband and got me my 2nd love in life- mint chocolate chip ice cream.

When we were putting the groceries aware I told him that we were NOT going to share eachothers ice cream tubs. He got peppermint. I got mint chocolate chip. I don't like peppermint so I won't be eating any of his. Because of that, he doesn't get to eat any of mine. Sounds fair, right? Why should I have to share my tub of ice cream with him if I'm not going to eat any of his ice cream? I shouldn't, it's only fair!

Today, at work, I got pretty busy. Busy enough that I sent Neal home for lunch by himself. BIG MISTAKE!

Just fifteen minutes after he left for lunch I received an e-mail with this picture attached to it.

My jaw dropped in utter shock and I replied back... "you're dead to me."
