Last weekend we made our way up to Salt Lake. For our anniversary (yes I realize it was back in September) Neal surprised me with Suite tickets to the So You Think You Can Dance Tour!!!! I doubt Neal loved watching last seasons dancers as much as I did but I'm pretty sure every time he heard, "It's LLLLLAAAAAUUUUURRREENNNNNN......." he got excited. :)
Since Neal made it through his first season of watching the show, he figured that he might as well try running for the best husband award again and take me to this concert! We met up with his Aunt and Uncle who also love SYTYCD and had a great time. The show was amazing and so inspiring! I can't believe how talented these dancers are, I loved watching every minute of it!
Saturday afternoon was a very sad day. We joined Neal's family at the U of U game! We love being able to go to games when we are up visiting. It was fun spending time with family but not so much fun watching the game. In fact, it was a good thing our stadium was blacked out because all the fans left mourning. It seriously felt like we were leaving a funeral. It was pretty bad.
Regardless of the crappy game, we still had a great weekend with family and friends! It is so nice to be able to come up on weekends and visit everyone. Being up in Salt Lake got us even more excited for the Holidays!
We are going to be up there for Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and the BYU U of U game!!! And then we'll be right back up for Christmas week. I can't believe that Thanksgiving is already two weeks away! I already started my christmas shopping for Neal and we've been buying some more christmas decorations for the house.
St. George is still a nice 60 degrees so we are loving the weather. Our bodies will go into SHOCK when we go to snowy Salt Lake :/
