It's 4 am and we're pumped to fly to Orlando, baby!!!
I LOVE my in-laws :) Go Marky and Char!
Unfortunately the rest of our family couldn't make it. Nate, Jen, and Spency pants were stuck in the Snowpocalypse back east. They were surrounded in 3-4 feet of snow all week and couldn't make it out for the Vacation :( So.... here's the crazy gang that made it!
Nealdo and I snuck away one night and completed Round 2 of Avatar 3d at IMAX. I don't mean to blast gateway's imax theater but wow... it was nothing compared to this one. We fought for the perfect seats, all 7 other people who showed up for the 11pm Wednesday night showtime were bummed we took the dead center, middle row.

Kennedy Space Center!!! Little old Neal and Lil' me posed for the photo op in front of these rocket boosters.

That night we drove back out to Cape Canaveral and watched the last NASA night launch. Seeing the shuttle blast into space was unbelievable. Check out my facebook page and Leyla has an amazing video of it. It definitely doesn't do it justice but I am so grateful that we were able to see it in person.
Yay! Neal is sooo excited that he's on a 2 hour tour of NASA!!!

This is my cute future sister-in-law Leyla! We were the life of the party at the Superbowl Sunday party... open bar=unlimited sherry temples. Life is good.
"Sweet thing, you have something in your grill."
Yay! Neal is so excited (but maybe confused) that we're in Disneyworld!

Okay, now he's really excited. We decided to invest in some Disney memorabelia, someday we'll take our future children back and embarrass them in these adorable hats. FYI... we kept them all day. Go us!

He was bugging me so I decided to decapitate him. An elderly woman kindly volunteered to take a picture.
Attempting the perfect shot of the Magic Kingdom...his ears were off.

Maybe it's not the happiest place on earth...
UNIVERSAL STUDIOS!!! This was my absolute favorite day of the entire trip. We bought VIP passes so we could surpass all lines and walk straight on the rides. So worth it! We hit every ride in both parks (Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure).

The last half of the day it was pouring, we refused to let that affect our ride schedule so we invested in ponchos. I say invested because they were 9 bucks each!!!
SEA WORLD!!! We spent two days here so we could see all the animal shows and hang out with Crocidile Hunters biggest enemy... the sting ray! Yes... that me feeding it shrimp.

That night Mark's convention we were with rented out Sea World and all the Carnival games. We had unlimited access to everything. I was in shock because normally this sort of thing I quickly walk by because it's 4 dollars to try to get a ball in the hoop which seems impossible after 3 tries. Not this time! We played every single game. I also found out something new about my sweet husband... he's an addict. Neal is addicted to the ring game. I had to beg the game officiator not to give him another bucket of rings. After 40 minutes there by himself, he gave up.
Needless to say, we still brought home TONS of chew toys for Lenny and Oscy.

This was our favorite ride of the entire trip, the Manta at Sea World! You ride underneath the rollercoaster so it is a totally different feeling than any other coaster we'd been on. It was insane!

I had already gone twice, so I sent Neal to do it a third time with his mom, brother, and leyla. I got to document!

Worst part of the trip. Walking back to the car after a long day, a sweet little birdy decided to take a dump while flying right over me. It landed on my head. This is my loving husband laughing at me while cleaning the poop out of my hair. As you can see, I am not happy. I was told that it's good luck if a bid poops on you. I was very skeptical at first because I didn't think that anything good could come after cleaning bird feces out of your hair. Oddly enough, it's true! We got the best parking at the dinner, had ZERO wait time at Maggianni's (unheard of), and I ate the most delicious lemon cookies for dessert. So... I will vouch for that saying from now on.

It was SO nice to get away with neal and be with family. We all had so much fun and look forward to our next family trip together :)
xoxo Erin Burk
