Updates!

I know, I know. We're acting like he's our baby and he's the only exciting thing in our life. How lame are we that all we blog about now is our puppy...well, dog. He's getting huge! He's finally growing into his paws, however- he is still pretty clumsy :) Every night when I'm doing the dishes Leonard loves to help me. He sits on the dishwasher and watches me put dishes in hoping that I'll drop some food for him haha

Leonard is obsessed with visiting his friends next door (2 old dogs), loves eating rocks and digging holes in our backyard. He finds anything to chew on other than his actually chew toys. He hates to cuddle unless he's tired and your willing to pet him. He's in love with his stuffed animal dog named Sammi and publicly shows us. He refuses to use a leash but is more than happy to stay right next to us while going on walks. Saturdays are his favorite because we take him to the dog park. Last saturday, Neal was doing some volunteer work so I had to take him to the dog park by myself. We were there for about an hour and I was starting to get pretty bored. I had the grand idea of running around the outside of the park so Leonard would chase me and get tired. That was a mistake. As I begin to run, I see Leonard coming up behind me so I decide to run faster so he can't catch me. Apparently I wasn't fast enough because he ran right up under my legs and tripped me! As Leonard starts rolling, I went flying and ended up face planting in front of all the dogs and their owners! I was mortified! I just sat there and help him feeling so stupid. haha This is going to go on one of my most embarrassing moments for sure! After that incident, I was done and left the park humiliated :/

Neal didn't accompany me to the dog park that saturday because he was busy busy helping build the DIXIE IGLOO! St. George is finally getting an ice skating rink! Neal was talking to the owner and ended up getting offered a part time job (not that either of us have time to tac on anything more haha). Neal is going to start coaching little kids in a hockey league down here!!! I am so excited for him! I know that he is going to love working with the little peewee's and teaching them all about his glory days as a Davis High Dart :) I'm looking forward to watching him and the kids play but I am dreading having to wash his dirty, smelly hockey gear. My mother-in-law gave me a clear warning about how bad it gets.... ew.

Since he's going to be coaching, we're going to make our way up to Salt Lake this weekend so he can go to some seminars at the E-Center. That will be the ending to a very good week. Tonight we're going LASER TAGGING, wednesday is the TEMPLE, and friday is the NEW MOON PREMIERE! I can't even get myself started on that movie. I am way too excited about it, just ask my patient husband haha But I'm sure I'll have PLENTY to blog about next week after this movie is out. All I need to do is convince Neal to go with me again on Saturday... wish me luck!!! :)
